Dai Due is a busy full-service restaurant and retail kitchen in need of a full-time evening baker. Must have professional baking experience including bread, mixing doughs, shaping, and doing prep work without direct supervision.
The right person will be part of a small team turning out breads and desserts for breakfast, lunch and dinner service, as well as breads and pastries for sale in our retail butcher shop. The evening pastry position will primarily be responsible for mixing doughs, cutting and shaping items to be baked off by the morning team, and sometimes preparing items needed for dessert menu.
Teach-ability and work ethic are more important than long-term experience, but autonomy and ability to keep a time table are absolutely necessary. Exact schedule is yet to be determined but hours will typically be 4pm-close of the restaurant. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and must be comfortable sharing space with animal butchery.
